Finding your way around

The bar at the bottom has six tabs:

• Home: what to watch and learn next, your daily quests, courses, reel packs and word decks.
• Shorts: short clips, each teaching one word. Swipe up for the next.
• Practice: your lessons, unit by unit, and the Words you saved.
• Leaderboard: your weekly league.
• Moments: what learners are sharing, and your own.
• Profile: your profile, badges, friends streaks, Saved and Liked, and Settings (the gear at the top).

The top of the screen

• The blue circle is your level. The ring around it fills as you earn XP.
• The flame is your day streak: how many days in a row you have practised.
• A potion shows when you hold an XP booster. Tap it to use one.
• On Practice you also see your gems and energy.

The magnifier searches videos, words and people. The bell opens your notifications.
