“Run” is one thing in “run a shop” and another in “run a race”. Tap a word and ClipToVocab shows the meaning it has in that sentence, with its level, so you learn it the way people really use it.
Words explained aloud
The video pauses just after a new word, and Pip or Nutmeg reads its meaning. You choose who explains, and which levels.

What is ClipToVocab?
An app for learning English from real videos. You watch videos and shorts with live subtitles, tap any word to see what it means in that sentence, save it, and practise it in short lessons made from the clips you found it in.
How long does a lesson take?
A few minutes. Lessons are short on purpose, so one fits into a bus ride or a tea break. A lesson a day keeps your streak going.
Is it free?
Yes. Watching, tapping words, saving them and practising are free. The free version may show ads. VIP is an optional paid membership that adds things like no ads and unlimited energy. See What VIP includes.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile, Settings, Account, Delete account. Without the app, use the delete your account page, or email [email protected] from your account’s email address.
Which phones does it work on?
Android phones; Get the app on the home page shows how to get it. There is no iPhone app yet.
